Macrophages of the Cardiorenal Axis and Myocardial Infarction

The aim of our study was to compare the features macrophage (mf) composition kidneys in patients with fatal myocardial infarction (MI) and without cardiovascular diseases (CVD). We used kidney fragments taken during autopsy. Macrophage infiltration assessed by immunohistochemistry: antibodies CD68 were as a common mf marker, CD80—M1 type CD163, CD206, stabilin-1—M2 type. MI characterized predominance CD163+ cells among studied cells, control group CD163+, CD206+, CD68+. In MI, biphasic response from for CD80+ CD206+: their number decreased long-term period MI; other did not show any dynamics. exact individuals CVD slightly higher than CD206+—strikingly predominant. Subsequent analysis CD206+ larger sample, well comparison data results obtained survivors may bring us closer understanding whether influence on these can serve new target personalized therapy postinfarction complications.
